Earlier this year General Electric launched a brand new Café line of appliances. In a sea of stainless steel the introduction of Matte White and Matte Black is a breath of fresh air in the world of kitchen design. In addition to these two great new finishes the Café line is the first line of premium appliances that can be personalized with customizable hardware in unique brushed bronze, brushed stainless, brushed copper and brushed black hardware options.
With this bold new introduction Canadian consumers will for the first time be able to personalize their kitchen appliances to coordinate or contrast with their distinct kitchen design. Accessorizing is a great way to showcase your personal style and now you can mix and match your appliance knobs just like you would with cabinet hardware.
Matte white offers a timeless, clean look. Its smooth, relaxed texture adds warmth and light to any kitchen. On Matte White appliances, brushed bronze hardware is standard, but you can easily swap handles and knobs for brushed stainless, brushed copper or brushed black.
Matte black creates a crisp bold statement, a perfect complement to the natural deep tones of wood and stone. Matte black appliances will be fitted with brushed stainless hardware, but you can red-design the look simply by ordering additional hardware.
Each handle features an exclusive copper cuff emblazoned with a discreet Café logo – a metal that’s a classic kitchen staple in both décor and high-end cookware. The Café line will also be available in traditional Stainless Steel.
